Mercer Delegated Solutions (MDS) is Mercer’s investment management arm which manages in excess of US$180bn globally. The European Investment management business (Mercer Global Investments Europe Limited or “MGIE”) was established in 2006 and currently manages assets in excess of $100bn. Investment is via Mercer’s Irish domiciled fund range managed by Mercer Global Investment Management, which consists of 100+ Irish domiciled sub funds across five umbrella structures.

Mercer’s Compliance Department protects Mercer’s reputation and provides advice to the Company. It understands challenges and advises on the impact of regulation in our business, with the objective of:
A key focus of the role will be to perform the PCF 12/PCF39 Compliance function and report directly into the Board of Directors of MGIM and functionally into the Compliance function and the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer for Mercers Delegated Solutions Investment business based in Ireland. This is a key role in ensuring that the Investments business Compliance function is operating effectively and continuously developing in line with industry best practice and regulatory expectations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and assessing the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, policies and procedures put in place by the Company in accordance with the requirements of the Central Bank of Ireland and the actions taken to address any deficiencies in the Company’s compliance with its obligations. The role holder should also advise and assist the relevant persons responsible for carrying out services and activities to comply with the Company’s and the Funds obligations under the Regulatory Framework.
