(SENIOR) TRUCK CONCEPT ENGINEER (M/F/D)

To start shortly, we are currently seeking for our department Fuel Cell Electric Commercial Vehicle Development a
(Senior) Truck Concept Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks

• Work out systems and vehicle concepts for trucks and buses for the European Market. Focus is on Fuel Cell and Battery Electric vehicles
• Define technical requirements of European customers based on market survey, segment definition, customer requests and new technologies
• Product target settings based on evaluation of product characteristics and benchmarking evaluation (fuel economy, performance, payload, comfort, HMI, …)
• Work out change requests to increase product attractiveness for European customers and to react on customer issues
• Technical feasibility studies and concept verification for European market
• Evaluation of competitor vehicles
• Investigation of vehicle interface to hydrogen refueling stations and verification of refueling of Hyundai Commercial Vehicles in Europe

Requirements

• Engineering degree or similar
• Experience with entire vehicle work paired with truck- or electric vehicle expertise
• Experience in mechanical integration and / or EE-Architecture is an advantage
• Good automotive know how ideally for trucks or buses
• Knowledge of European commercial vehicle market
• Interest for electric and hydrogen drives
• Truck driver license is an advantage
• Good communication and networking skills
• Good command of English language
• Intercultural competence
• Willingness to work in an international environment and to travel in Europe (from time to time)
