As part of a school curriculum in initial training, you are looking for a mandatory internship or integrated into a gap year that will allow you to validate your studies. The internship duration is 4 to 6 months maximum.

We are looking for Internship on Configuration Management for Single Aisle Simulator (m/f) who will be joining us at Airbus site in Toulouse.

This internship is to be filled from February, 3rd 2020 to September, 30th 2020.

You will be joining the department “Simulator Devp't & Operations”. As part of the control of the SA simulator test sessions, one mission of the department is to collect the traceability of avionic equipment. The traceability consist in: Part Number, Serial Number, Version Number of avionic equipment’s, but also the version number of the simulation models used and the couplings implemented with other test means.

Today the management of the traceability process for SA simulator requires many manual tasks that limit its performance. The purpose of the internship is to improve the performance of this traceability process. Previous study have been already done and a first prototype solution have been developed and implemented on SA simulators in Q3 2019.

Based on this first prototype, the main objective of this internships will be to write a global specification of an industrial solution in order to be able to launch a call of tender to suppliers.

  • Tasks and Responsibilities :

You will be working under the supervision of your manager who will help you identify your professional objectives and support you in the development of your skills.

Your main activities will include:

  • operating on simulator the first prototype in order to appropriate the solution and identified weakness and opportunity of improvement
  • upgrading this first prototype by adding other function with support of local team
  • working closely with simulator management teams and tester teams in order to identify requirements to integrate in the global specification.
  • Required skills:

You are preparing a diploma level Bac+ 5 Master or engineering school or equivalent, with Physical measurement, systems, electronic, informatics.

You ideally have initial experience in the field.

- English: Intermediate level

  • Soft skills:

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
