As a Consultant within our Reward line of business, you will join our growing team and work with Senior Consultants and Directors to help our clients achieve their ambition. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and practical solutions across a range of total reward areas including reward strategy, design, job architecture and levelling, and compensation benchmarking.
To succeed in this role, you will need strong business acumen along with confidence to interact with key client contacts, work in teams, and build a trusted advisor status. You will focus on helping clients through understanding issues and shaping solutions, bringing new perspectives to their problems and accessing the power of our global network of thought leaders.
The Role
+ Work with senior consultants to deliver consulting services on large, complex projects
+ Lead small to medium complexity projects with oversight from senior consultants, taking responsibility for overall project success
+ Use analysis and insight to understand client problems, identify opportunities and craft solutions
+ Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels
+ Contribute to business development and marketing activities through research, client relationship development, proposal preparation and scope of work drafting.
+ Stay up-to-date on future reward trends
+ Use a combination of company provided information and training, consulting frameworks, thought leadership and technology trends and products.
+ Develop technical knowledge and skills in reward, our consulting frameworks, thought leadership, and trends in HR technology
+ Exceed client expectations while adhering to professional excellence policies and standards
+ Meet personal sales and billable hours targets
+ Meet team and project-based targets
+ Contribute to sales and marketing efforts through client outreach, proposal development and conceptualising solutions to client problems
+ Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on global and cross-functional teams
+ Develop people and project leadership capability
+ Contribute to an inclusive, growth and performance orientated culture
The Requirements
+ Experience in delivering business solutions and sales/business development in a consulting environment
+ Experience in a broad range of total rewards consulting domains, including strategy and philosophy, salary structure, incentive design, benchmarking and market analysis
+ Ability to undertake job analysis, design of job families and job architecture
+ Experience in leading compensation surveys, recruitment of participants, management of survey submission and analysis and reporting
+ A professional presence with polished and well-developed facilitation, written and oral communication skills
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks
+ Proven ability to recognize and diagnose issues, work in teams, and to bring a solution mindset to client problems
+ Ability to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
+ Availability to travel on an as-needed basis
+ Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology/Sociology, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or any other major with significant qualitative and quantitative course work
+ Located in Melbourne (preferred) or Sydney
