We facilitate over 70 million patient consults each year by providing software solutions for General Practitioners, Specialists, Pharmacists and Hospitals.

The Ecosystem team works together to extend our core health software competency to become “The Hub” of general practice technology and primary care insight and analysis. We do this through our focus on feedback (customer, client and team members), by driving our existing partnerships and products harder and strategically selecting and engaging in new projects and partnerships.

As a leader in the Ecosystem team and a manager of other team members, the Consulting Lead works to enable the Ecosystem strategy directly, and through others, by developing strong relationships with our major partners and clients. Such relationships work to drive value to their businesses in a way that is supported by our broader company vision and purpose, adds utility to our customers and has positive commercial outcomes for our business.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead - Provide continued support and guidance to ensure direct reports are successful in their role and are driving toward their targets by conducting regular professional development sessions with each direct report, annual performance reviews, remuneration recommendations and performance improvement plans where needed. You will also encourage your reports to attend and present at meet-ups and other industry events. One of your major goals will be to facilitate the professional growth of your team.
  • Partner - You will partner with your team and other leaders in the Ecosystem team to develop a wider business strategy. This will include partnering with People & Culture to drive initiatives that support team engagement and partnering with our marketing team to ensure that opportunities are supported by branding activities where appropriate.
  • Business Development - Provide an exceptional level of service to key partners and clients via an understanding of their business needs and how our platforms and data can assist them. You will also assist in the development of new products or partnership opportunities, creating effective pricing strategies to ensure commercial success.
  • Strategy - Devise and implement initiatives that drive increased utilisation of our partnerships and products, including any supporting analytics. You will also support the development and execution of Ecosystem policies including accredited partner and data governance frameworks, implement (and keep current) structured domain and key client account planning, and perform commercial validation of new opportunities by considering the trade-off between effort and value.

You should have:

  • 7 years+ experience in managing and building client relationships including generating ideas on how to drive new business value and negotiation of commercial and other terms.
  • Experience in the full breadth of the employee life-cycle with respect to the management of direct reports.
  • Analytical aptitude to create business case studies and conceive and manage data insight projects.
  • A track record of inspiring and motivating team members, successfully managing priorities and performing under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent team collaboration skills, you will thrive on collaborating with a diversely talented team and integrates their divergent thoughts, opinions and expertise into effective action.
  • A proactive self-starting approach with a track record of initiative, personal responsibility, ownership of work and reputation for making things happen.
  • Highly effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence decisions.
