The successful Copywriter is responsible for strategizing and writing persuasive, direct-response B2B copy to generate leads and qualified appointments, with the end goal of getting clients for the agency.
This includes (but not limited to):
- Landing page copy like lead magnet or direct application funnel
- Lead capture tools like pop-ups, opt-ins
- Email copy to convert leads into qualified appointments
- Social media announcements and promotions
- Paid ads copy
- Advertorial and editorial
- Funnel planning and developing
This role requires a very result-oriented and adaptable individual who is able to deploy a persuasive copywriting style that is attuned to the Chronos Brand’s Voice to align and tap into our target audience’s desires.
It is imperative that he or she is able to communicate a clear and accurate picture of the technicalities and quality of service of the Chronos Agency brand persona to our future clients and prospecting leads through clear, concise and compelling storytelling.

Outcomes and Accountabilities
Create compelling headlines and body copy to capture and convert the target audience
Generating persuasive direct-response B2B short-form copy for social media, company website, pop-ups, landing pages and nurture email flows.
Assisting the marketing team in developing content for paid advertising campaigns
Work closely with the Marketing Graphic Designer to create compelling infographics and graphics to support paid advertising, events and lead acquisition campaigns.
Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies
Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability and lead conversion optimisation
Identifying customers needs and recommending new content angles or storylines to address in the current content strategy
Must have 1-2 years of experience in writing persuasive, direct-response copy for digital audiences (B2B experience is an advantage) including emails, paid advertising and landing pages.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a flair for creativity and versatility to capture a brand’s persona
A foundation within the digital marketing space, preferably familiar with Facebook ads, Facebook community pages, and SEO experience
Familiarity with the eCommerce space (Klaviyo, Shopify) and Hubspot is a plus
Ability to concisely communicate with different personalities within the team to discuss and contribute constructive feedback and suggestions
Great organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks independently
Possesses the personal attributes of being highly dynamic, analytical and a problem solver
