Role Summary:

The Contract Manager will provide commercial contract management support to Projects, Services, and Sales for all contractual matters regarding the sale, procurement, installation, testing, and servicing of Wind Turbine Generators in Australia including pre and post award EPC (Engineer, Procure, Construct) head contract and subcontract risk analysis.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Pre-award head contract, consortium agreement, and subcontract risk analysis and negotiation support
  • Post-award subcontract tendering, negotiation, and award support
  • Identification, documentation, and management of key contractual risks throughout project lifecycle
  • Identification and preparation of margin enhancing change orders, claims, and other recovery opportunities
  • Detailed contract analyses in response to emerging issues and development of strategy in conjunction with key stake holders
  • Customer, partner, and subcontractor claim management, negotiation, and settlement
  • Coordination with GE legal team as circumstances require
  • Preparation and support of major insurance claims
  • Maintenance of contract documents, amendments, change orders and correspondence
  • Maintenance of bank guarantees and insurance policies as required
  • Feedback of contractual lessons learned to commercial team


  • A Bachelor’s Degree (Technical or Business)
  • Minimum 10 years of contract or project management experience in the power or construction industry
  • Extensive knowledge of equipment Supply and Services contracts and turnkey EPC contracts and subcontracts.
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to travel throughout the region
  • Appropriate entitlement to work in Australia (Permanent Resident or an Australian Citizen or New Zealand Citizen)

  • OEM, Developer, or EPC Project experience with wind turbine-based power generation
