Renewables_Electrical & Control Engineer support engineer tto support GE Renewable Energy Offshore Wind

  1. Objectives:
  • HAL-X grid models validation as per US 60Hzgrid code and UK 50Hz grid code
  • Data Analysis of Wind turbine Operation using field data and test simulation data from the non-validated model
  • Assistance to HAL-X grid models validation:PSCAD & Power Factory models based on field measurements
  1. Service to be provided:
  1. Analyze field data recorded during certification campaign on onshore wind turbine prototype and full nacelle test bench.
  2. Create non-validated parametric models:
Use Digsilent Power Factory tool to create non-validated models
Use PSCAD (Power Systems Computer Aided Design) tool to create non validated models.
  1. Understand main grid codes and assess the wind turbine recorded performances versus - Grid code requirement captured in DM2-77 - Model performances (Digsilent Power Factory non-validated models, PSCAD non validated model using converter dll)
  2. Develop and maintain a matrix of compliance to capture the gap between real measurement and model outputs.
  3. Assist Customer Engineerto parametrize the models so that the models can be validated as per field measurement.
  4. Project Management support during entire period of support to sensure the successful completion of the tasks/milestones with quality, schedule and withing the budget.
  1. QuEST shall provide the following Deliverables to UK 50Hz 13MW Wind turbine & US 60Hz 12.4MW turbine
    1. Generate Gap Analysis Report of turbine performances between real measurement and grid requirement
    2. Generate Test report capturing gap analysis between turbine performances as per UK 50Hz grid code test and PSCAD non validated model
Simulate and geneate tests report with the model outputs after PSCAD model parametrization.
