Directly reporting to the Commercial Director, EMEA, the Manager Controlling provides global financial planning and analysis to support continued profit and productivity improvement for the Cantel business in EMEA region. This role is a key partner with business unit leaders and senior managers across all locations and functions through management and delivery of financial reporting and analysis initiatives.

  • Assists in the preparation of the monthly forecast and Quarterly Business Review for all functional areas of the Cantel Dental division (Omnia Group) for Europe (Italy, Spain and Greece).
  • Working in close relationship with the manager accounting to ensure a solid closing process for the legal entities in IT, GR and ES
  • Participates in the annual strategic planning and budgeting processes including establishing assumptions, spreadsheet modeling, consolidation, analysis and presentation preparation.
  • Prepares ad-hoc financial analysis to support senior management decisions.
  • Monitors orders, sales and profit against the targets on a weekly basis.
  • Updates cost and expense trend reports, and analyzes variations ensuring alignment with the forecast.
  • Leads the design, development and maintenance of all internal Controlling Reports for the Omnia part of the division.
  • Responsible for Working Capital and department spending analysis.
  • Extracts financial data from various finance and information systems including Hyperion and QlikView as required.
  • Future SAP Key user for the SAP integration for SD, CO, MM Modules
  • Establish controlling standards reg. controlling reporting and analysis for the Omnia Group.
  • Expected to advise the EMEA CFO immediately of all issues, delays, errors, irregularities or significant adjustments or journal entries as they occur

  • Minimum BA in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 8 years of accounting/controlling experience.
  • Independent working style, self-motivated, goal oriented.
  • Experience in preparing, analyzing, and implementing accounting and reporting requirements in a global environment, global manufacturing preferred.
  • Successful FPA Management experience is required, in manufacturing and/or medical devices industry.
  • Experience with PC and ERP system usage – SAP mandatory
  • Excellent computer and technological skills, including high proficiency in Hyperion Finance Management and Microsoft Office Applications mandatory | Excel strong use and knowledge (data mining)
  • Italian and English fluency mandatory, other languages a plus | Non-Italian native profile to be also presented.
  • Works effectively in a team environment, within and outside of the Finance Department.

Success in this position requires the ability to build a strong partnership with the FP&A team in regions, the Country Managing Dire and the BU Senior Managers and frequent communication with finance peers.
