The Role

Are you on a personal quest to create unforgettable, irresistible copy that converts? The Strawhouse Conversion Copywriter is obsessed with combining brand voice and storytelling in a way that creates intent and drives customer acquisition for DTC eCommerce Brands through paid media distribution. In this pivotal role, you create and craft clear, concise and compelling copy and copy strategies that drive customer acquisition, and leverage performance data to optimize for the best possible outcomes. Working seamlessly with Full Stack Marketing professionals, you are a Subject Matter Expert, and a strategic champion.

You will master the delicate dance between Brand Voice and high-leverage Conversion Copywriting strategies to ensure we’re advertising brands in a consistent and engaging manner. You possess the confidence and empathetic intuition to write copy that matters, and to guide how we approach copy as an organization. The Conversion Copywriter is reputable for possessing the experience and curiosity to create world-class, industry leading copy while supporting the education and growth of our internal team to continue our growth as a powerhouse team of Conversion Copywriters & Strategists. 

Key Accountabilities

  • You own the ongoing development and optimization of the internal research strategy, ensuring briefs are delivered in a high-quality and timely manner.

  • You manage the ongoing development and optimization of ad copy strategies, delivering high quality ad copy following Strawhouse’s internal practices.

  • You lead the development and optimization of Strawhouse’s internal landing page copy strategies to produce high quality landing page copy.

  • You control the ongoing development and optimization of Strawhouse’s internal eCommerce  Email strategies to produce high quality email copy.

Core Competencies

  • Possess a deep understanding of current and newly emerging best practices and strategies related to the defined area of expertise and how they apply to improving operations and performance for Strawhouse and it’s brand partners.

  • Create and maintain all necessary strategies and frameworks for effective execution of the most repeatable and high-leverage tasks being deployed within the defined area of expertise.

  • Develop training documentation that leads to competency growth.

  • Maintain company standard operating procedures within the defined area of expertise.
  • Monitor output and performance to ensure tasks and assets are being completed that meet or exceed internal quality requirements.

Education and Experience

2 years+ of Conversion Copywriting experience writing for B2C and B2B audiences

4 years+ of professional sales focused writing experience in an agency, in-house, or in a freelance capacity
