We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and respected corporate communications specialist to join our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for managing both external and internal communications for HARMAN. This is an individual contributor role.
You will create and promote the public image of HARMAN with its customers, industry and potential employees. You will develop communication strategies for tradition and social media and analyst relations as well as maintain a strong network of industry connections to further increase our organization’s awareness.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop public and social media strategies for current and existing products, launches, and promotions for the company in order to protect and enhance HARMAN’s reputation in the market
Work with the HARMAN’s leadership team to understand the business priorities, objectives and go-to-market strategies and develop effective PR and Social media plans to support the division
Demonstrate ability to navigate and develop long-term and positive relationships with PR/marketing counterpoints at client/customer site.
Consistently brainstorm and collaborate with broader Communications and business teams for new ideas and strategies
Supervise, mentor, manage and delegate responsibilities to PR agency and build credibility and joint projects with industry analysts
Manage content team to produce relevant, compelling social media updates with links to products or promotions
Develop and produce high-quality, informative, and interesting social media posts, press releases, press kits, and related materials
Maintain good relationships with media and industry influencers
Organize promotional events, press conferences, tours, visits, and exhibitions
Analyze media coverage; develop responses when needed
Create presentations, articles, reports, and information for web sites, blogs, and social media accounts
Create and manage PR budgets, deadlines, objectives, and schedules
Develop or commission market research as needed
You will work with internal stakeholders to ensure employees of the organization are kept informed and motivated. You will do this by communicating through several channels, such as a staff intranet, email bulletins, social media and regular newsletters.
You will work closely with senior executives, internal communications managers establish organizational messages and keep staff informed of developments.

Creation on desirable content – announcements, speeches, executive’s letters, newsletters on a regular basis.
Working with HR on internal organizational announcements.
Management of our internal company intranet.
Requirements and Qualifications
8-10 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, PR, Social media, Analyst and Influencer marketing. Experience of working with large, multinational company is necessary.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills is a pre-requisite; strong copywriting and content creation skills
Bachelors/Master’s degree in marketing, journalism, business, or related field
Strong knowledge of social media and consumer influencers
Willing to work, network and collaborate with a global communications team, sitting across countries and continents and managing time zones effectively
Up-to-date on latest industry trends; able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
Strict adherence to company philosophy/mission statement
Strong project management skills with ability to supervise multiple projects
