Corporate Finance Internship Autumn 2025 - Nordea Investment Banking (10-20 weeks)

We are looking for a Corporate Finance intern to join our team full-time for 10 or 20 weeks in Stockholm for a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in one of the leading financial institutions in the Nordic region.

About our team

Meet the Nordea Investment Banking – Corporate Finance team. Our role is to provide expert financial advice to clients across the Nordic region, focusing on M&A, IPOs, and other equity-related transactions. We work closely with clients on high-impact deals, helping them navigate the complex financial landscape.

Our Corporate Finance team is part of Nordea Investment Banking, with approximately 100 employees across offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, Helsinki, and Oslo. We work in close collaboration with other divisions within Nordea, ensuring seamless service to our clients.

What you’ll be doing

As an intern, you will work alongside a dynamic team of senior and junior colleagues on exciting corporate finance projects. You will get the chance to:

  • Conduct industry analysis and company valuations
  • Assist in the preparation of pitch books and marketing materials
  • Support various stages of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and equity capital markets (ECM) transactions
  • Participate in financial modeling and deal structuring
  • Contribute to client presentations and meetings

Who you are

This is the right role for you if you are proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn. You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are passionate about corporate finance. You are ready to take ownership of tasks while working as part of a team to deliver outstanding results.

Your background and skills include:

  • A genuine interest in financial markets and corporate finance
  • Excellent academic record, preferably in finance, economics, or a related field
  • Fluency in both Swedish and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

It would be ideal if you also:

  • Have experience with financial modeling or previous internships in corporate finance
  • Have a positive, goal-oriented attitude and enjoy taking responsibility
