Job Summary
  • Management of pre and post contract cost management works, tender and contract documentation, and settlement of project final accounts
  • Ensuring quality of all work delivered by the cost management team
  • Coordinating project teams across different projects
  • Acts as advisor to cost engineers to meet schedules and/or resolve costs, contract, claims and technical issues
  • Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends
  • Set out and manage project feasibility estimates and budgets
  • Oversees the administration of contracts and claims management  during the full life cycle of the project
  • Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution by the cost management team on a day-to-day basis
  • Servicing clients and liaison with Consultants and Contractors on daily basis
  • Be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team to the expected standards as a professional cost manager and cost engineer
  • Assisting in the updating and maintenance of regular project financial statements and project cost reports throughout the project life cycle
  • Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience encompassing both pre and post contract in cost management consultancy environment. Experience in Contractor and / or Client side will also be taken into consideration
  • Experience in leading a small team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Thai
  • Computer literacy
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of construction contracts commonly used in Thailand
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across different levels within organizations, both internally and externally
  • Candidates with over 15 years of relevant working experience will be considered for Associate Director positions
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering / Architecture or other relevant disciplines
