Weekend Crew Electrician

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our Western Sydney (Huntingwood) plant in a permanent full-time capacity, as part of the weekend planned and preventative Maintenance crew.

(Friday, Saturday and Sunday on a 12-hour shift, with a Monday every 6 weeks).

Our Huntingwood Plant is a state of the art, highly automated plant with a variety of highly technical equipment, including high-speed robotics and packaging equipment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• General maintenance through to preventative maintenance
• Assessing the machinery including leading robotics and casers
• Problem-solving
• Troubleshoot, test and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and equipment
•  Work in compliance with Arnott’s Quality and Safety systems
• Record maintenance and corrective work in the CMMS

Your skills and experience:

• You will be OHS focused with knowledge and experience to conduct risk assessments and control processes
• Hold an Electrical “A” class license;
• Have Electrical trade experience in a high-volume production environment, preferably within the Food industry
• Demonstrated fault finding and troubleshooting skills
• Alan Bradley PLCs, VSDs and associated complex control systems would be preferable
• Have a continuous improvement mindset
• SAP experience would be favorable.
