CRM Lead

Your role as CRM & Loyalty Data Lead will be responsible for managing all data activities that contribute to the execution of optimal digital marketing email campaigns. You will lead a team of Coordinators and Developers and oversee the end-to-end email process from email briefing and content planning, through to testing and delivery. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in a CRM, Data Driven Marketing and/or Campaign role, who has managed multi-channel digital marketing campaigns. You will be comfortable influencing stakeholders, delivering on hard-deadlines, and have demonstrated experience working in a fast moving and ever-changing environment.

What does the role involve?

  • Provide data lead insights into customer behaviour to support the development of the David Jones annual email calendar
  • Analysis of previous and existing campaigns to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Build test and learns plans based on performance and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with core business units including Merchandise and Marketing to develop campaigns
  • Ensure all activity complies with all external regulatory requirements
  • Support your team and oversee workflow to ensure that timelines are adhered to

What are we looking for?

  • Extensive experience in a CRM, Data Driven Marketing and/or Campaign role
  • Experience working with Salesforce and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Proven experience managing a team
  • Relevant degree qualification in business, marketing or commercial discipline
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines 
  • Exposure working within the retail, FMCG or financial services industry will be advantageous
