What this role is responsible for:

  • This role is responsible for supporting the build and execution of digital marketing campaigns to attract qualified prospects across organic, social and paid media channels.
  • Day to day scope includes campaign strategy development, platform integration testing, UTM tracking implementation, training & SOP development, reporting & data analysis, and stakeholder communication management.
  • The Marketing Automation Specialist will be responsible for defining Crimson's email marketing automation strategy across 20+ markets, building and maintaining an effective landing page ecosystem, supporting email marketing, virtual and in-person events from a set up and tracking perspective, and building effective reports to improve global team effectiveness.
  • Reporting into the Director of Performance marketing, this role will have a huge focus on creating sound strategies and robust systems & processes that positively impact revenue.

What success looks like:

Leadership, Training and Initiative

  • Lead regional campaign creators with regular virtual meetings and trainings for Marketo and Salesforce integration best practices.
  • Participate as an active member of the global marketing team, contributing ideas to improve structure, processes and performance.
  • Actively engage Crimson's country managers and local area marketing managers, helping them build integrated marketing campaigns and seamless brand experiences that increase brand presence and customer acquisition.
  • Create and document standard operating procedures and best practices that improve consistency of operations globally.
  • Review the existing Crimson customer lifecycle journey to date, and report on performance / areas of opportunity.
  • Implement ongoing tracking and analysis of Crimson's customer funnel through Marketo and Salesforce, and lead the team in opportunities to optimise.
  • Develop and implement Crimson's automated customer lifecycle strategy, in partnership with our Crimson Global Academy automation lead.

Campaign Execution

  • Consistently manage the building of landing pages, email drips, events and automated communications through campaigns that are running across the various platforms we use e.g. Facebook, Google, Zoom, Eventbrite.
  • Select and design A/B tests for landing page and email optimisation in order to consistently improve results.
  • Consistently track leads, lead progress, and sales/revenue generated from your activities.
  • Identify new channels or ways to optimize spend and maximize revenue in each market.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Ensure effective tracking of leads and revenue for all campaigns through UTMs
  • Analyse and report on campaigns, A/B tests, leads, and revenue globally
  • Contribute to developing Crimson's global digital marketing strategies, best practices and knowledge base.
  • Support in compiling and reviewing global analytics and revenue reporting.

    • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with other team members and stakeholders.
    • Ability to productively and efficiently collaborate with a globally dispersed team.
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional learning agility.
    • Experience with Marketo & Salesforce.
    • Basic understanding of the UK and US admissions process.

    Compensation: Base salary and variable income, based on experience and performance.
