We are seeking caring and motivated people to join our Workskil Australia team. We have full time opportunities available to assist customers with finding employment.
About the Roles
As an Employment Consultant you will focus on engaging customers into our service. For many of our customers they are new to employment services, so you will utilise your knowledge and critical thinking skills to support our customers to overcome barriers, in order to gain meaningful employment.
Using our case management framework, your focus will be on improving customers’ capacity to work by assisting them in building skills and experience. These roles will also include undertaking ‘marketing’ of customers to suitable employers and running group-based job search sessions to motivate and promote further job opportunities for them. There will also be a strong focus on generating suitable vacancies and job referrals to place our customers in.
Due to COVID-19, Workskil Australia has made some adjustments to how the business operates and how we deliver our services. This means that a majority of customer appointments and employer contacts are being conducted over the phone in the short term!
You’ll also experience the work/life balance that comes with working a 9 day fortnight, with a dedicated and fixed day off every second week. You will still receive the remuneration of a full time employee in addition to the ability to salary sacrifice. Remuneration
A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As Workskil Australia is a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax effective salary packaging.
