Job Description

Provide Watts' retail customers complex technical support to meet or exceed established goals in the Post Sales group.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
+ Deliver service and support to end-users using and operating automated call distribution phone software
+ Interact with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests about products and services;
+ Gather customer’s information and determine the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms;
+ Diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues
+ Research required information using available resources;
+ Follow standard processes and procedures;
+ Identify and escalate priority issues per Client specifications;
+ Accurately process and record call transactions using a computer and designated tracking software;
+ Organize ideas and communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations;
+ Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers where necessary;
+ Stay current with system information, changes and updates
+ WQA certification - Watts will sponsor at least 2 levels
EDUCATION:
+ Must have high school diploma or skills and abilities generally acquired with twelve years of general education.
+ Two or four year degree preferred; technical degree desired

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Maintain exemplary attendance and punctuality
•Three (3) years of experience in a high volume Customer Service department or in a related water industry area. Related experience may be customer service or water purification or a combination of both.
•Proper phone etiquette
•Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
•Demonstrated proficiency in typing and grammar
•Knowledge of relevant software computer applications and equipment
•Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
•Effective listening skills
•Willingness to co-operate with others and work to the greater good
•Multi-tasking capabilities

*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
