Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the cloud revolution. As a Customer Solutions Manager you will work with some of the largest and most complex enterprises in the world. You’ll help enable their multi-year journey to the cloud. In this highly visible role you’ll drive AWS teams to work together effectively and deliver successful modernization outcomes for customers.
As a core member of the CSM Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will leverage your program management skills to guide the successful commencement and ongoing implementation of large-scale cloud programs. Using your consulting skills, you’ll understand and address any foundational gaps to clearly agree and progress the migration delivery plan with key stakeholders.
This position also involves accelerating the customer’s cloud journeys, maximizing business value, and streamlining engagements across AWS and the wider partner eco environment. You’ll directly impact some of Australia’s largest cloud modernization programs.
You will take end-to-end ownership of projects across multiple enterprise customers. This involves understanding when programs are at risk and escalating effectively to ensure constraints are understood, issues are flagged and programs stay on track. Using your interpersonal skills, you’ll collaborate with various teams including Sales, Solutions Architecture, Support and Professional Services. Engaging with technical and non-technical teams is a key part of the role.
You will build relationships with account teams, understanding your customers’ key business drivers and ensuring they’re clearly communicated and documented. Engaging during the latter stages of the sales cycle, you will apply consistent best-practices. This includes bringing in SMEs and conducting migration kick off workshops. You’ll also establish effective escalation and reporting mechanisms to mitigate program risks.
Additionally, you’ll help shape our growing Customer Solution Management CoE function. This includes defining and implementing new processes, methodologies, and tools. Other responsibilities include :-
· Ensure customer IT and business stakeholders are aligned, to ensure broad adoption of the migration across the customer organization
· Assess migration progress and design and implement plans to mitigate any risks or delays.
· Support the people and process pillars of migration
· Be the overall owner of reporting and system updates related to the health of cloud programs.
· Help build IP and share best practice across geographies.
