The Group IT within Intersnack is responsible for coverage of IT business needs across all Management Units. The Group IT is based in Intersnack Head Office Düsseldorf and incorporates and manages several external IT providers to assure the best service to the end-users Group-wide. Intersnack Group started a new journey to create new ways of working within the whole Intersnack Group by harmonising all business processes – called Project One -, which is supported by a common IT solution stack, based on Infor Cloud-Solutions. Currently, a team consisting of more than 20 nationalities and 100+ colleagues works in the project office to achieve this goal.


Purpose of Role

The Cutover Manager will work closely with other leaders and project members from business and IT to execute the pre-cutover, cutover, and post-cutover activities. As part of our current project, you will be responsible for all cutover actions during rollouts in. The systems to be substituted are different ERP systems, and the target system is always our new solution stack centred around “Infor CloudSuite Food & Beverage”. You will ensure that a consistent discipline is followed related to the cutover strategy, detailed planning and execution to drive successful implementation of the new system, processes, and business capabilities.


Responsibilities:


  • Leads cutover activities for Pre-Go-Live, Go-Live, Post Go-Live and creating a fallback concept
  • Develop a detailed cutover checklist and project plan incorporating both technical and business tasks as well as the preparation and coordination of the Hypercare phase
  • Responsible for complete project management of the cutover and conversion deliverables to the new system, resolving discrepancies or process issues related to cutover
  • Coordinate with the project managers for rollout, testing, data migration, IT system cutover and legacy business process transition

  • Act as a point of contact between project and cloud providers to ensure a successful handover from built to run

  • Partners with other project managers, team leaders and program leadership to develop the communication and escalation governance practices related to the cutover plan

  • Provides cutover status reporting to the project leadership and key stakeholders

  • Acts as the last point of escalation for all cutover issues, proactively identifying risks and recommended mitigation plans as well as appropriate interventions when the cutover may be jeopardised

  • Works closely with the program workstream leaders to document the cutover results for each system, process, and business activity

  • Takes responsibility for continuous improvement of cutover template


Education & Experience:

  • Technical and/or business degree (graduate level preferred) with ten plus years of experience, including similar roles or responsibilities.
  • Significant ERP project delivery experience especially in rollouts of ERP templates (pure project management not acceptable, as will require content knowledge)
  • Must have demonstrated experience in breaking down complex technical, functional process dependencies into more manageable tasks in the deployment plan.
  • End-to-end deployment experience with a focus in cutover activities on a large international ERP implementation for at least 1 or 2 multi-national implementations.
  • Experience working with and coordinating the completion of critical tasks and activities being executed by globally distributed team members.
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors and service providers across a solution landscape.
  • Experience in project planning and related tools such as MS Project, Excel, or similar software.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and organisational skills are required with the ability to prioritise and manage large amounts of information to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment effectively.
  • High level of independence, commitment, flexibility, and willingness for business travel of 30%-50% annually, primarily within Europe.
  • Good command of spoken and written the English language is a must, and German is a plus
