As a Data Analyst in Personalized Marketing, you will join a high impact multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with marketing managers, product managers, data scientists, economists and engineers. You will provide analytical expertise and be in charge of testing for SEA (Search Engine Advertising) and GDN (Google Display Network) to improve the channels’ performance.
You will be on the lookout for problems and opportunities in our data. You will translate your findings into action plans together with product managers and marketing managers.
In addition, you will benefit from a network of Product Analysts, who share similar challenges across the company, to learn and develop your skills.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
Develop in-depth analytical (user) understanding for what drives growth for SEA and GDN marketing and how it can be improved
Be a watchdog of key performance indicators and surface any potential issues. You need to be able to explain performance variances accurately
Structure smart tests, experiments and advance initiatives that work
Challenge and contribute to product decisions and development based on data insights as well as your deep understanding of Zalando’s business
Provide evidence for the actions we take - from discovery to roll out
Build dashboards to present the performance of our products in the most intuitive way so your stakeholders are enabled to make optimal strategic decisions
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A degree from a university in a numerate subject (e.g. Economics, Science, Engineering, Business)
Applicable work experience in analytics, ideally in an e-commerce context
Ability to formulate clear problem statements and hypotheses as well as potential solutions based on data insights
SQL and/or Python experience for deep dives into our data
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
