Be the recognized data engineering and data science specialist supporting our BDC digital data strategy for MSSA in Corsier-sur-Vevey. This include contribution to the design build and run of the data and analytical platform supporting CMC development and Clinical production. 

Your role: 
You will manage a global cycle that covers the collection, storage and exploitation of the data. In a Big Data architecture, you will be the designers, builders and managers of information. You will develop the information architecture that helps to analyze and process data as the organization needs it.

As such, you will play a key role in the roll out of the Company’s data governance model. You will be responsible for ensuring consistency of the BDC data landscape and as such will be the master data and associated metadata custodian.

In your role, you will contribute to the design build and run of specific data processing pipeline that will help our goal of accelerating its CMC lifecycle. 

You will provide proactive support end-users and serve as a single point of contact to ensure that your customer get the data they need, on time and in the format they require

EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Graduate degree or more in a scientific or engineering discipline with strong IT background or IT specialist with a demonstrated experience in the Data analytic space.
• Knowledge of Master Data and their metadata governance principles. Knowledge of Data genealogy tools would be a plus. 
• Strong understanding of modern data and analytics principles (data genealogy, data pipelining, cloud based architecture, SQL no SQL or Graph DB etc..)
• Knowledge of programing language like Python would be a significant plus
• Understanding the problems of data security.
• Knowledges and experiences in Computerized System Validation as a plus.
• You understand and master Software development lifecycle. Project management certification (PMP, Agile) as a plus.
• Design thinking experience would be a plus
• Business-fluent English, French would be an asset
