DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS:

Position Overview:

  • The Consumer Data Architect, GC&M (Greater China & Mongolia) is primarily expected to understand the needs of managing marketing and consumer related data at various aggregation levels from all data sources from first party environments across campaign, interaction, loyalty, ecommerce, vending and third party environments (real time included) to third party environments (real time included) & effectively utilizing that data across multiple channels to deliver data driven marketing in the Coca-Cola System and the GC&M region, especially well understood the complicated China wall-garden ecosystem from media to eCommerce. (WeChat, Alibaba, JD, Bytedance)
  • The Consumer Data Architect will collaborate with business and senior technology associates in Global IT to play a critical role in continuously enhancing and rolling out solutions that allows marketers/business users to efficiently do personalization & segmentation at scale utilizing the right technologies in a cost-effective manner, ensure China CDP (sitting in China Azure) technical excellence with rich experiences on CDP domain experience and knowledge, incl. ID resolution for China ecosystem wall-garden and segmentation & activation.
  • As the SME of consumer data architecture, expected to optimize across multiple consumer related data flow & integration, data base and data processing across multiple solutions: frontend, CRM, CEP, CDP, Segmentation and MA with data governance experience of working on hybrid cloud of data flow such as eCommece, vending/smart cooler (IoT) in alicloud and AWS.

The position would report to the Lead of GC&M MarTech, and closely work with BA, data analyst, solution arch, cloud arch and cyber security analyst.

The MarTech will be part the Coca Cola company’s regional development centre (RDC) and will serve the GC&M region primarily. The mission of the RDC in the MarTech domain is to analytically enable & automate brand building operations to build a competitive advantage for Coca-Cola Marketers in GC&M OU.

Key Results

  • Scalable & robust data pipeline to hold marketing data (from billions of consumers that the brand touches across the region) that can hook on to multiple data sources and activation channels across offline and online channels seamlessly
  • Analytics solutions that meet criteria for business value, cost, time-to-deliver, and reusability
  • Actionable insights for business teams & deliver a culture of data-driven marketing
  • Compliance with company and industry best practices and standards

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture for all consumer related data
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements.
  • Contribute to the top priority MarTech data projects all the way from project initiation, chartering, enrolling team members, execution and closure
  • Work with marketers, Data/ Business Analysts to understand marketing challenges, business questions, processes, and related data.
  • Integrate consumer data from owned websites/applications, from partners & third-party vendors & transactional data (sales data) across walled garden
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using China Azure ‘big data’ technologies primarily, and hybrid cloud if needed
  • Build analytics reports to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and other key marketing performance metrics.
  • Document processes and research, standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.

Job Requirements - The following is a listing of minimum indicated requirements for this job.

Education          

  • University Degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Applied Math or related field.

Related Work Experience

  • 8+ years of work experience in data engineering functions & delivering solutions to large organizations
  • Experience in working on marketing data related data pipelines (consumer data) like in CDP etc will be preferred.
  • Data Experience related to retail sales, eCommerce, digital media and other data sets, most commonly used in the CPG industry will be an additional advantage

Qualifications (Bold = key)

  • Good exposure in one or more, Big Data Technologies such as (Azure CosmosDB, Hive, HBase, Kafka, Spark, Yarn). Strong preference for Azure stack experience (Databricks, Azure functions, HDInsight cluster, Event Hub, Azure Data Factory etc). Certifications of Azure would be a plus.
  • Strong working database knowledge and experience working with both relational databases and NoSQL databases and unstructured datasets, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
  • Strong skills with one or more data analysis languages: Python, Java, Scala, etc.
  • Knowledge about data governance and data security, experience with building processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.
  • Building scalable APIs & integrating with APIs to push data with 3rd party channels will be advantageous
  • Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI would be a plus.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin. Communication skills in English will be hugely advantageous
