From Lambda Executive, we are looking for one of our clients, a Data Engineer, to design, build,and maintain efficient and scalable data pipelines, integrating internal and external data sources, and ensuring data quality and availability for analysis and decision-making. The client is a multinational company in the retail and e-commerce sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in handling complex data ecosystems, working with cloud-based data platforms and a strong background in SQL, data modeling and ETL/ELT Tools. This role is crucial for supporting business intelligence efforts and help drive data- informed decisions across the company.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Develop and optimize data architectures in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists to understand data needs and ensure the delivery of high-quality datasets.
- Support GDPR compliance of systems.
- Monitor data pipelines and proactively address data quality issues, performance bottlenecks, or system failures.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Advanced English level written and spoken (C1).
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python.
- Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with large datasets and real-time data processing.
It would be a plus:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
- Have led or mentored junior data engineers or cross-functional teams.
- Have worked in fast-paced, high-growth environments or tech-driven companies.
- Knowledge of following technologies:
- Cloud- Azure, AWS
- Microsoft ecosystem
