Job Purpose:
The Chief Data Office's mandate is to establish a data governance and data management framework across all business lines and business units at Citi. The CDO develops data guidelines, standards and controls to protect Citi’s critical information assets. CDO partners with Businesses and Global Functions to define policies, procedures and drive initiatives to support and deliver improved data management practices and process with our partners. CDO ensures Businesses and Global Functions initiatives are aligned to CDO and enterprise priorities and develops and manages the approach to measuring adherence to CDO data management guidelines.
Job Background:
The Data Governance Sr. Manager will be responsible to lead the EUC (End User Computing) Control Backend Operations Team, will be hands-on and detail oriented leader with an ability to motivate and influence the Team and ability to support Senior Leadership by identify the relevant operational performance objectives to measure and configure the team resources, to enable overall operational objectives to be accomplished (Speed, Quality, Flexibility, Dependability), with ability to manage escalations, prepare process documentations and service level management and escalation documentation between teams, contribute to continuous process improvement, support special projects while collaborating with the Other Team Leads and EUC Stakeholders and perform Budapest CDO Functional Head duties.
Key Responsibilities:
The Data Governance Sr. Manager is responsible for managing activities supporting the client, EUC Front and Backend End Operation Team, Other Team Lead and CDO Sr. Management such as;

• Provide the Backend Operation Team with a vision of EUC Program’s goals and objectives
• Define clearly state expectations and objectives with the Backend Operations Team. Ensure that all members understand the mission(s) ahead
• Recognize and acknowledge the skills of key team members and utilize their strengths to the benefit of the team
• Provide guidance to Coordinator Team based on management direction
• Ability to understand how EUCs are used to support the business process and/or business decision-making and their major impact on financial statement and risk measurement, etc.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of client relationships and ensure clients are satisfied with Citi products and services. Act as an escalation point for business unit’s clients and cross functional partners.
• Identify the relevant operational performance objectives to measure and configure the team resources
• Ensure deliverable are prepared to satisfy the project requirements in a timely manner; initiate sub-groups or sub-teams as appropriate to resolve issues and perform tasks in parallel
• Provide performance and SLA reporting of Operations Team’s, Helpdesk and Application Support Team’s activities against the program plan or schedule
• Keep EUC Program Director and Project Manager informed of task accomplishments, issues, and status; take significant steps to correct the process or eliminate the problems so that future projects succeed
• Serve as a focal point to communicate and resolve interface and integration issues; Coordinate reconnection to networks for EUC files
• Identify problem trends and ensures that troubleshooting efforts are completed for recurring incidents until permanent solutions are found; solves problems and makes decisions on a daily basis
• Manage Change requests, change schedule and assure SLA is met
• Create and maintain process documentations and service level management and escalation documentation between teams
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality and process improvement programs and ensures that decisions made to improve the overall customer support is continually carried through
• Communicate pertinent information to create work environment that lends itself to the best interests of the EUC Governance Program
• Fulfill Budapest CDO Functional Head duties such as: manage matrix teams, participate on management meetings, cascade information to CDO teams, engage team to participate in VOE events, participate in recruitment, assist with the assessment of the matrix team, assist with DPO clearance, and US management with the local issues.
