Job summary:

We are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team! As a SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL 

Server RDBMS systems .

Position:  MY SQL Server Database Administrator

Experience:

  

10+ Year

Education and Certifications : 

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, computer Science, o r B.Tech · 5+ years working with MS SQL databases and database administration .

Knowledge and Experience:

· Manage SQL Server databases · Configure and maintain database servers and processes · Monitor system s health and performance · Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security · Analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time · Experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar role

· Experience with MY SQL Server Administration experience required · Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) · Experience with backups, restores and recovery models · Knowledge of database design principles, · Experience with backups, restores, and recovery models, · Knowledge of High Availability and Disaster Recovery options for MS SQL Server, · Experience in implementing operational automation using scripts, · Experience with report development tools, Microsoft Power BI, and Microsoft Reporting

Services, · Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for SQL Server · Experience with Windows server, including Active Directory · Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company s success · Critical thinker and problem -solving skills · Strong working knowledge of implementing and supporting SQL Server replication and distributed database architecture. Experience with Service Oriented Architectures and application

Database Administrator Skills:

· Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools · Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards · Understanding of relational and dimensional data modelling · PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills · Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS · Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge · Excellent written and verbal communication skills
