Role Purpose:
The Dealer Principal (DP) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and profitable operations of CASE Victoria, which is a company-owned dealership. The Dealer Principal is responsible for ensuring the success of the dealership by strategically forecasting, planning and overseeing the operational activities. This is also a key leadership role to inspire and enhance employee engagement within the dealership.

Major Accountabilities:
• To drive sustainable growth of the dealership through consistently meeting and/or exceeding targets for Wholegoods, Parts, Service and Rental areas on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Develop, engage and lead teams to carry out the Case Victoria strategic and operational plans to achieve objectives.
• Meet sales, profit and market share and customer satisfaction targets.
• Develop and manage budgets to maintain share and margin objectives within company policy.
• Build strong relationships with key industry bodies and customers to promote the Case brand and build long term growth.
• Protect Company assets while minimising insurance premium cost and Worker's/Accident Compensation exposure by enforcing fire prevention, safety and good housekeeping procedures and practices in line with Company Policy, Award and Legislative requirements.
• Meeting all position requirements by ensuring the application of sound human resources management practices in accordance with Company Policy, Legislative and Award requirements

Minimum Qualifications, Skills, Experience:

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business or an industry related area. MBA strongly preferred.
• Technical or Trade background would be advantageous but not essential.

Essential experience and skills:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Dealer Principal or General Manager within the Construction Equipment or similar industry
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Minimum three years of Executive Leadership experience preferably in a retail business environment.
• Knowledge of finance schemes and competitive positioning of equipment.
• Highly developed management, communication and people skills.
• Strong computer skills, specifically the MS suite of products and exposure to Pentana DMS would be an advantage
• Ability to understand technical information related to the equipment and markets that Case Victoria operate within
