About the Role:

Due to our rapid and exciting growth a newly created role has become available for an eCommerce Delivery Consultant  to join our talented IT & Projects Team.

This role will support Website Delivery between the eCommerce Team and the various development agencies engaged for the Accent Group. 

Reporting to the eCommerce Delivery Manager, this role will assist in BAU project delivery, contributing to scoping and solution analysis, and prioritising requirements accordingly across approximately 19 trading eCommerce sites. The role will work closely with eCommerce Project Team, IT teams, eCommerce Trade Managers and agency partners to ensure that new functionality & BAU improvements are delivered in priority order.

Across the group, we have 2 development agencies and 2 versions of the Magento eCommerce platform and are integrated into 2 separate ERP systems as well as other 3rd party partners. We also have a number of custom PWA platforms. This role requires the candidate to be well versed in the architecture and set up of each of these environments in order to support website delivery scoping and solution analysis. Testing functionality is also an integral function, required to protect the sites and ensure they continue to trade following each deployment.

We work closely with all our partners to deliver a considerable amount of improvements in every release, as we constantly strive to achieve excellence in performance and the customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in Website Delivery across multiple streams and brands and external agencies (Focus on BAU improvements)
  • Contribute to scoping and solution analysis, and translate business requirements into briefs for external agencies
  • Handle technical conversations across multiple parties
  • Manage the delivery of the solution to meet internal client's business requirements
  • Manage any follow up requirements and escalations until resolution
  •  Assist in planning and management of user acceptance testing
  •  Produce and prioritise test cases
  • Leverage learnings, experience, and enhancements across the group to ensure all brands are continuously improving
  • Support internal clients in understanding each stage of the delivery and the priority of requirements to assist clients in achieving their objectives
  • Participate and assist in internal client upskilling and training activities
  •  Build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Communication is clear and concise to all internal parties to reduce overall effort
  • Assist in identifying and escalation of risks to Manager
  • Creation of New Process & functionality documentation
  • Respond to internal clients and external vendors in a friendly and timely manner

To be successful for this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated  2-3 years experience required in a similar and hands on experience within eCommerce
  •  Experience in development processes and release planning
  • Proven experience in a similar paced role within an agency is preferable
  • Experience with magento platform preferred
  • Highly Process Driven
  • Strong ability to multitask is integral
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High Sense of urgency and ability to prioritise conflicting priorities
  • Ability to develop business processes and procedures
  • Strong relationship building skills, the ability to build rapport quickly with people, and to handle conflict positively.
  • Ability to problem solve and take initiative and have a good sense of judgement ensuring confidentiality at all times
