Under Armour is all about performance. Because what we make empowers athletes in every form to push themselves, to turn good into great, and to stay hungry for whatever comes next. And this is exactly what we expect from each other.
Working with us means one key thing: no matter what you do, you see every day and every project as a chance to push your field forward. In every store and every office, we build teams where everyone is an MVP. And together we tackle every challenge head on. Because we work to push the gear, the game, and ourselves farther.
We’re looking for people who do more than good work.
We’re looking for the Best in Every Game.

Under Armour is the chosen brand of this generation of athletes... and the athletes of tomorrow. We're about performance - in training and on game day, in blistering heat and bitter cold. Whatever the conditions, whatever the sport, Under Armour delivers the advantage athletes have come to demand.
That demand has created an environment of growth. An environment where building a great team is vital. An environment where doing whatever it takes is the baseline and going above and beyond to protect the Brand is commonplace.
The world's hungriest athletes live by a code, a pledge to themselves and everyone else: Protect This House... I Will. Our goal is to Build A Great Team! Will YOU…Protect This House?!
The role of Demand Planner is responsible for adding value to the S&OP process by providing input into optimum forecasting, analysis and reporting to ensure key target levels are met. This role also plays an integral part in the collaborative planning process and will work cross functionally with other teams across sales, marketing, planning and supply chain to ensure targets are met, whilst maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will be managing the Demand Planning and the National Supply Planning processes to ensure stock availability and ongoing supplies of products are placed, received and available for both our Wholesale and DTC customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

+ Lead and manage the consolidation of Under Armour’s global demand forecasts. Reconcile long, medium and short range forecasts with capacity and financial plans.
+ Lead communication of variances in demand plans and inventory to strategic objectives, in coordination with cross-functional teams.

Strategic Planning;

+ Incorporate gap closure action plans for alignment between the demand plan and strategic targets, and between the demand plan and supply.
+ Gain consensus on action plans in coordination with supply chain directors in Baltimore and Panama and the local Senior Management on a regular basis.

Collect and analyze market data and trends to impact category business planning
+ Analyze market and product trends to develop seasonal demand forecasts. Base trend analysis on market growth, account door growth, marketing plans, customer bookings and sell-through, category and style cancellation rates.
+ Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to understand sell through account data behavior and replenishment expectations to achieve an accurate Material-Color level forecast.

Purchase Planning
+ Support monthly net demand forecast and secure on-time customer order coverage and product availability through development and maintenance of seasonal, monthly and weekly purchase (delivery) plans for product availability.
+ Ensure that delivery plans for materials, support inventory targets & buy strategy for their particular buying model. Validate exceptions with the Demand plan and other stakeholders if necessary i.e. Sales & Merchandising
+ Maintain high buy plan accuracy with regards to Material-staging commitments and Materials & Color commercialization priorities with IHQ in Baltimore
+ Manage Purchasing to key targets (e.g demand coverage, at once availability, inventory turns, safety stock %, closeout %, DFC targets).

Buying & Inventory Management
+ Execute buy process effectively and on-time for Available product using the appropriate buy model and buy frequency (Weekly demand pull vs Monthly Material Staging or standard inline process)
+ Manage ATS to ensure that all sizes of a product are available to book in-season, throughout the product’s lifecycle. Use the Order Volume Check table effectively, to manage large un-forecasted orders and prevent getting into an inventory-constrained situation.
+ Monitor and control the Purchase Order confirmation process. Align buy dates and lead times to ensure target demand/forecast coverage for each need month. Confirm, print and send PO’s to liaison offices within stated timelines.
+ Proactively manage PO changes or cancellations as strategically necessary to align supply to demand on product availability and maintain category inventory management objectives.
+ Expedite supply where necessary to meet product availability requirements whilst being careful not to exceed Air Freight targets. Balance service level with costs.
+ Avoid 3PL capacity issues and improve operational inventory turns through timely analysis of supply vs demand, and optimizing the flow of delivery by executing PO splits

Continuous process improvement
+ Be an active part of process improvement efforts within the business/functional group, The Subsidiaries and Baltimore. Take ownership for process improvement sub-activities (e.g. analysis, presentation, workshop organization).
+ Develop relationships with process stakeholders (both business and IT) to influence improvements and ensure alignment of process improvement efforts.
+ Work together with other functions/groups to create and maintain process documents (maps, learning’s, case studies, etc.).
+ Improve Forecast Accuracy. Track forecast accuracy against actual bookings through the season and analyze where/why it goes wrong. Apply a structured approach to improving accuracy at all levels.
