Animate the regional monthly collaborative sales forecast process (CSF) for Vietnam full transactional business scope. Require building the consensus with key business owners with each BU/Product line in charge about future demand outlook, to ensure the forecast accuracy targets are achieved.
Lead and host the monthly Sales, Inventory and Operation Meetings (SIOP) with the participation of Country president, Business Units VPs, Country CFOs, GSC Logistic Heads, CS&Q Directors, and other related functions. Articulate the key demand, inventory and operation challenge in respective BU/Zone or country and facilitate the consensus discussion for solution and decisions.
Support the inventory planning, stocking policy and safety stock management.
Supporting Distribution Requirement Planning Process (DRP) with country Supply planner & LoB planner to ensure all the basic parameter like forecast, Unhealthy Stock, Excess, Obsolescence Inventory management. and so on must be maintained correctly inside SAP systems.
Lead the collaborative planning process with key Customers/Co-Planning, sales marketing, and other cross functional stakeholders and facilitate the monthly co-planning meetings directly with customer/partner.
Conduct regular meetings with Commercial (Sales / Marketing) & Product (BU/LOB) teams to gather and analyze all available information to create the best possible forecast (historical sales, phase in/phase out, cannibalization, causal factor, market trends, seasonality, promotions, special events inventory levels, price changes, lead-time etc..).
Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets (input: forecast accuracy, forecast value–add, unhealthy stock level, customers OTDC) based on changes in demand and market trends
Proactively facilitating, re-engineering, best practices & consensus between functional experts (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, LoB planning, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, cross-functional stakeholders, and Finance)
Participate actively in projects teams, working on initiatives to improve forecast accuracy
Complete relevant reports (weekly & monthly) as and when directed
Strong background in Demand Supply planning & Forecasting. Working knowledge of IBF (Integrated Business Forecasting), SIOPs (Sales & Operations Planning)
Experience using SAP (Kinaxis/Similar tools, DRP, MM module) &/or Kinaxis (sales forecast and DRP module), or other ERP statistical software packages
Strong analytical abilities /High level of data analytics skills – forecast modeling
Good communication and Team building skills
IT Skill (Create Tableau, database, Power Query, Advanced excel, Office) is preferrable
Ability to lead cross-functionally with strong collaborative skills in getting consensus among teams in mitigating demand gaps
Mature, confident, and collaborative. Capable to directly engage senior executives at VP or SVP level.
Customer Collaborative planning experience is preferred.
Marketing, sales, and customer interface experience is preferred.
10+ years related experience
Tertiary qualifications in a commercial or logistics (Business, engineering, or related field)
