Roles and Responsibilities:
# Responsible to maintain and overdrive Equipment Availability and cost as per AOP
# Responsible to drive RCA for repeat issues and major issues impacting deliverables, actively takes support from CFT as applicable.
# As a leader provides support team by training, coaching and mentoring.
# Responsible to assess and develop competencies and performances of direct reports using a structured process taking into account cascading objectives.
# Attends the plant NPI meeting and drives to close NPI issues affecting performance
# Support and participate in NPI activities in his area. Make sure all open points are addressed before taking production handover from NPI.
# Responsible for the training of technicians on the new technologies
# Responsible for adherence to all the safety and environmental rules in his own area
# Ensures continuous improvement in his area by using Kaizen, RCA and Gemba.
# Responsible to execute risk assessment and define actions
# Drive the Escalation Process and quick problem resolution
# Responsible for recognition of good work of employees by proper nominations for R & R
Skills and Knowledge Required:
# Complete know how of maintenance system, process, preventive/predictive maintenance, Safety standards to be followed in maintenance,
# Excellent hands on knowledge about Siemens PLC (S7 - 300, 1200, 1500) programming and troubleshooting.
# Expertise in Siemens Sinamics, V90, Simotion D drives.
# Siemens 840D CNC maintenance and troubleshooting.
# Good hands on expertise to understand and troubleshoot issues in Fanuc CNC (0i, 18i, 30i series)
# Troubleshooting and teaching of Fanuc and Staubli Robot.
# IATF audit requirements from maintenance perspective.
# Green Belt Certified (preferred)
# Good man management skills, people friendly, acceptable to all
# Excellent leadership skills with experience of managing people
# Self learner and driver cross functionally.
# Excellent verbal & written communication skills
# Good interpersonal skills with the ability to gain cooperation & commitment from peers, superiors and reportees

# Excellent knowledge of HS & E system requirements
Experience and Education Required:
# University degree, BE/B Tech, Electrical / Electronics engineering is must
# 4-6 years of previous experience in manufacturing in a similar role having automotive , mass production background
# Experience in leading team of shift technicians
