We have an exciting opportunity available for an amazing Design Assistant to join the Sheridan Design team!
The role will provide administrative support to the Design team and reports directly into our Senior Design Manager.

You will be required to manage our PLM system, sample tracking, new season research, support creating colour palettes and work directly with our international sourcing partners.

Your new role as a Design Assistant at Sheridan…

  • Assisting and supporting the Designers in the creation and execution of future concepts and product ranges
  • Assisting and maintaining all admin for design and development
  • Collaborating and developing strong relationships with cross functional teams to prepare quality presentations and sales tools for range showings
  • Tracking and managing all development samples
  • Assist with spec creation and amendments
  • Use creative forecast services, magazines, colour authorities, websites and market analysis to assist in providing information for trend directions, story boards and project work
  • Work with our international sourcing partners
  • Be a super star!

What experience you can bring to us?

  • A degree in fashion/textile design or similar
  • An innovative and creative approach to design
  • Intermediate level experience in Excel and Adobe Creative Suite essential
  • Inspirational team player capability
  • Experience across either fashion, home or lifestyle product
  • Previous exposure to PLM system (preferred)
  • Proven track record in similar design assistant role
