RFFE teams are addressing the modem-to-antenna link offering an extensive portfolio of RF Front End components engineered to deliver integrated solution for industry-leading RF performance solving the challenges that poses 5G NR. The design center of 40+ engineers based in Sophia Antipolis is dedicated to micro-acoustic SAW and BAW filters, working in worldwide collaboration with system engineers, module design teams, marketing teams, other micro-acoustic design centers and factory to transform 5Gs potential into world changing technologies and products.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven, team player, well organized and result oriented individual who will be responsible for the design and development of RFFE micro-acoustic components.

As Product Development Engineer, he/she will perform the design and simulation of the product or demonstrator, using the design tools and the development environment of the company, initiate prototype build and validate its performance and reliability in the entire operation domain, particularly over temperature, linearity and high power durability and issue a product specification In case of issues encountered during manufacturing, discrepancy between measurement and simulation, she/he will drive the necessary problem-solving tasks and reviews. If necessary additional iteration of the design will be conducted. The entire development is driven as a project she/he will be manager of in accordance with the quality manual of the company. Once performance is approved by the customer, release to mass production will be prepared by reviewing lot yield and centering in the process window together with the product industrialization engineer.

She/he will be in close contact with various department worldwide, other micro-acoustic design center, module design teams, manufacturing sites, R&D teams, technology development, marketing. The candidate needs to have a strong communication capability and ability to building trusting relationship.

Innovation spirit is a strong facet of this position in our very competitive market. It can take many aspects in which she/he will be playing a key role, for example, new acoustic resonator arrangement which could lead to patent, design based on the latest and greatest Front-End and packaging technology, improvement in design procedures, wide spreading good practice to worldwide product development community.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years experience with circuit design (e.g., digital, analog, RF).

• 1+ years experience utilizing schematic capture and circuit simulation software.

• 1+ years experience with hardware design and measurement instruments such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF tools, etc.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.

• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.

• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).

• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.

• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely.
