Job Description

Dextra Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is looking for Design Engineer (Mechanical)

Process development (machinery…)

  • Develop project/improvement specifications in relation with other department (production, quality…)
  • Design (from concept to detailed drawings) cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, productivity  and reliability
  • Develop, test, evaluate and implement solutions/systems
  • Monitor and commission machinery and systems

Product development (bars, couplers…)

  • Develop standard product range in Solidworks based on the Engineering Manager input.
  • Develop detailed 2D drawings of the standard product range with accurate dimensional/geometric tolerance and surface finish indication.
  • Develop detailed 2D manufacturing drawings for fabrication
  • Liaise with production (internal : machining, subcontractors : casting) to ensure best design in order to minimize cost.
  • Maintain the standard product range up to date (3D, 2D) and guarantee clear filling and registration of soft files.

Qualification

  • Thai nationality
  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problens
  • 5-10 years of technical experience with  steel product/machinery development in mechanical industry, or experienced in mechanical engineering company
  • Strong experience in Autocad and SolidWorks program is essential
  • Creative ability
  • Self-motivated, rigorous, organizational skills (time and resource planning)
  • Good oral communication skills in English
