Position Overview

Our Education Content team is central to our global strategy. Their work enables our clients and partners to quickly come up to speed with TIBCO technologies in order to deploy solutions that drive innovation. Ultimately the team is responsible for enabling our client’s competitiveness by accelerating ROI for their TIBCO-related initiatives.

As a Technical Content Designer, you will join a team of highly collaborative individuals and play a key role in designing our content materials. You will be working with the latest in A/V technologies and developing great technical training courses for cloud based technologies. You will mainly communicate within the company, mostly with the engineering team. Meetings and investigations may require interaction with the Support and PSG groups.

What You'll Do

Required Skills

• Ideally will have a technical degree with 1+ years’ experience in software development, support, software quality assurance or similar 
• Experience with audio/video software: Camtasia, Audacity, Articulate or similar
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Adobe Framemaker
• Knowledge of XML, REST, Web Services, JSON, Cloud technology, Kubernetes, Docker
• Working knowledge of at least one database technology like Oracle, MS SQL or DB2
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Diligent, innovative, team player but also autonomous, job assignments can range up to many weeks in duration
• Problem Solving and tenacity: content designer can be faced with many obstacles while designing training materials
• Willing to Learn products independently to develop labs and workshops on those products
