Reporting to the Head of Milk Pool Development and Innovation based in Kilkenny, this role will ideally commence February 2021 and have responsibility for providing critical support as a feed into strategic planning and as a support to the decision making process of the commercial function along with project management of key initiatives / programmes.
Lead and be responsible for the development and delivery of innovative new schemes, services and key initiatives, supporting the strategic growth plan
Construct and project manage Schemes through cross functional collaboration to derive tailored customer price risk management solutions.
Implement these Schemes with our Suppliers and support the Regional Managers in their responsibility to deliver these schemes to our supply base.
Prepare and deliver key presentations to Senior stakeholders.
Support the Regional Managers in the delivery of best in class farm relations.
Input into the strategy development and implementation process.
Review accounting treatments and compliance reporting processes and coordinate the implementation of actions / activities as required
With support from Finance Business Partners co-ordinate input from the relevant functions for the monthly reporting packs.
An accounting and/or related third level qualification.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant finance/business analyst role.
In depth understanding of the dairy industry would be a distinct advantage.
Solid knowledge and experience in Excel, Powerpoint and Word also an advantage.
Strong business report writing and presentation skills.
Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain good working relationships at all levels in an organisation.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Excellent commercial and financial acumen.
Proven track record of analytical and problem solving skills.
