THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate DevOps engineer to join our Platform Team responsible for deploying and operating services required by our development teams to run their applications. The successful candidate must come with a strong track record of operating cloud infrastructure and understand its challenges. We want to see vision, team spirit, pragmatism and empathy. We expect willingness to continuously learn new technologies and methodologies, as we are working with the latest cloud technologies to deliver a world-class software product.
Expectations and Tasks:

• Be an active member of an agile scrum team responsible for architecting, deploying and operating platform services
• Ensure and maintain full automation of delivery and monitoring processes
• Ensure efficient and state-of-the-art operations: self-healing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, etc.
• Be technically proactive, influencing the team with innovative and creative ideas
• Have the flexibility to adapt to technologies and change directions quickly
• Take operational responsibility for delivered services - "you build it, you run it"

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Solid knowledge and recent experience in DevOps
• Experience in delivering and operating cloud-native solutions, preferably on Kubernetes
• Experience with cloud providers, preferably AWS
• Experience in automation and infrastructure-as-code, ideally Terraform
• Solid knowledge of network security and protocols
• Good knowledge of source control, CI/CD
• Knowledgeable of at least one of the following programming scripting languages: Java, Go, Python
• Experience with logging, monitoring & alerting, preferably EFK-Stack, Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos
• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Helm, Istio, Kafka, RDS, Docker, Ansible
• Agile & Scrum practitioner

WORK EXPERIENCE

An ideal candidate should bring at least 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in a cloud enironment
