Reporting of the Role

The Digital Manager reports to AOR Director.

Measures of Success

In three months:

  • An understanding of the client’s product portfolio, position in the market and an insight into their key competitors.
  • Learned about MediaCom’s main campaigns, trading partners, tech and data suppliers and our ways of working with each partner.
  • Met all of our key clients and started building relationships them.

In six months:

  • Become a core player on the digital campaigns and be fluently managing the main portfolio specifically while overseeing the display activity.
  • Started contributing to the wider digital department by championing our products and processes.

In twelve months:

  • Become a trusted member of the team and autonomously taken the lead on managing digital planning and buying.
  • Contributed to the client’s programmatic trading and lead the relationship with all of their data and tech partners.
  • Coached junior members of the team to achieve their goals

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Campaign Planning
    • Historic campaign performance analysis
    • Campaign implementation planning
    • Internal & external briefing management (client, ad ops & publisher)
    • Online consumer journey mapping
    • Media optimization metric forecasting
    • Publisher collaboration & idea creation
    • Post-campaign analysis & recommendation
  • Campaign Schedule Buying
    • Media Placement negotiation
    • Media buying & insertion order management (client & publisher)
  • Campaign Optimisation Management
    • Campaign & placement pacing delivery
    • Campaign optimization
    • Data insight analysis
    • Campaign delivery & performance report collation.

What you will need:

  • Meet and liaise with Clients to identify requirements.
  • Work with Agency colleagues to fulfill and achieve a client’s/brand’s/campaign’s objectives/requirements.
  • Present, defend or justify, alongside Agency colleagues, the output of the Agency.
  • Negotiate with Clients, Suppliers/Partners, on details (budgets/timelines/scope) pertaining to deliverables for Accounts handled.
  • Organize and handle administrative requirements for your business – CE’s, invoices, revenue tracking, contracts, meeting schedules, etc.
  • Contribute to strategic work churned out by Agency teams for brands handled.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for growth through initiatives for brands and campaigns handled.
  • Closely monitor campaigns and executions for accounts handled, ensuring agreed KPI’s are achieved or surpassed.
