In addition, they will maintain and optimize all web sites and digital media campaigns ranging from SEM, display and paid social within the Vail Resort Retail portfolio. The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving all digital analytics, built from a variety of data sources including, but not limited to, Google Analytics, Omniture, Exact Target and Point of Sale data to measure and optimize campaigns on an ongoing basis. The Digital Marketing Manager will drive the strategy, development and execution for our rental ecommerce platforms; and along with all digital plans in support of overarching campaigns and brands.
The Digital Marketing Manager will have one direct report and will be responsible for their continued growth and development.

+ Drive the digital strategy and execution, in alignment with the retail and rental businesses long term growth roadmap. This includes all brands in the retail and rental portfolio (e.g.,, Breeze, Colorado Ski & Golf, Any Mountain, Bicycle Village, Epic Mountain Gear, Vail Sports, Gore Creek Fly Fisherman, et al).
+ Responsible for driving the evolution of the UX on our current ecommerce rental sites; and to drive 4 main rental KPI’s; site traffic, site conversion, product mix and AOV.
+ Partner with Retail Sr. Brand Manager and Sr. Product Managers in developing digital media/campaign plans in support of various store groups, campaigns, sale events and advanced rental business. Then partner with external media agencies in the creation, launch, optimization and performance reporting of digital campaigns: SEM, display and paid social
+ Manage the relationship with the internal paid media team to drive the allocation of digital investment based on the goals and objectives for the year, recommending incremental investment when needed.
+ Establish digital best practices for retail and rental and share them across the RMM’s and resort Sr. Product Managers to increase overall revenue.
+ Develop and execute web content updates to ensure websites are up-to-date with current promotional content, as well as consistent with look-and-feel of brand standards and advertising campaigns
+ Build a best practice around analytics and reporting by developing and monitor KPls to drive effective decisions and recommendations on how to improve campaign performance, site functionality and enhance user experience.
+ Provide input on departmental strategies, translate strategies and objectives into actions within digital areas of responsibility
+ Help evolve and optimize internal workflow and processes to increase efficiencies
+ Meet department deadlines and have ability to quickly take action on assigned tasks
+ Oversee day-to-day budget management and complete accurate monthly forecasting for assigned business segments
+ Lead the growth of a direct report by developing core competencies and growth of the team member to fulfill individual potential and fuel company core values and mission.


+ Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field, MBA or advanced degree a plus
+ A minimum of 5 years of digital marketing including strategy and execution - _required_
+ Agency experience, retail experience, leadership experience and budget management experience - _required_
+ Ecommerce, digital and social media marketing experience - _required_
+ 3+ years of Supervisory experience
+ Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
+ Deep experience using modern CMS platforms, fluency in HTML, CSS, et al, and strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite apps.
+ Any Flash, Rich Media and/or video editing skills a plus — preferredEnglish fluency
