The Director, Customer Insights & Analytics will provide business leadership, direction, decision-making and oversight for Verra Mobility’s Commercial Services’ analytics, business intelligence and reporting needs. The position is responsible for leading and building a team that will be responsible for the development of reporting, internal & external dashboards, KPIs/Metrics and decision support systems for Verra Mobility’s commercial business units.

+ Develop and maintain reporting tools, statistics and KPIs to track and manage company and customer performance at multiple levels
+ Provides clear visualizations and presents analysis to management and executive level stakeholders, using Business Intelligence tools and predictive analysis to drive decisions
+ Drives consistency in reporting and analysis across the organization, reinforcing process, increasing visibility, and acting as the key point of contact regarding KPIs
+ Provides data and industry research to support new business ideas, identify TAM and drive profitability and pricing models.
+ Apply statistical methods and knowledge of business and financial transactions to identify trends, revenue optimization and cost reduction opportunities.
+ Develop interactive modeling tools to assist with product and feature pricing, forecasts, cost and customer profitability models.
+ Collaborate with customers and internal departments to analyze, design, build, test, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards and other data extracts as requested.
+ Assist with budgeting, planning and forecasting.
+ Develop and supervise a team of analytics and business intelligence professionals.
+ Develop a deep understanding of operational and financial processes and their impact to the performance of VM’s product portfolio.
+ Encourages and supports enterprise data sharing and collaboration.
+ Works closely with the Infrastructure teams, both internal and third party, in organizing and creating an environment that makes data and information accessible with appropriate channels of access controls; acts as an advisor in the use of data to improve performance and enterprise-wide strategy formulation.

+ B.S. Economics, Finance or Statistics/Mathematics required.
+ MBA with a focus on Data Analytics or Computer Science preferred
+ 10+ years’ experience in an analytic role in the financial, banking, mobility or outsourcing industries.
+ 5+ years’ experience analyzing complex data, managing multiple projects with increasing difficulty and complexity, and developing sophisticated reports.
+ 3+ years’ experience in a management or senior leader role
+ Strong computer skills in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite; expert Excel, Access and PowerPoint skills
+ Experience with SQL and data modelin
