Job Title: HR Data Governance Lead
Morgan Stanley is looking for a Data Governance Lead to join the Human Resources Data Governance & Entitlements team. The team is accountable to drive the data governance initiatives for HR and ensure adherence of HR to the new firm wide governance policies.
You will focus on analyzing the impact of the policies on HR data and systems, define the roadmap and report to senior management on the various governance initiatives.
You will be working with the Data Governance Strategy & Implementation lead to manage work prioritization and delivery of the HR Data Governance and Entitlements program of work, as well as the operation of on-going compliance with the Firm’s Global roadmap to Data Policy 2.0 rollout and adoption into new HR Systems and Projects.
Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master Degree is desired
More than 7+ years of relevant data governance or data management work experience
DMAAI / Data Governance certifications / qualifications / memberships as a plus
Expertise in Collibra Data Governance is highly desirable.
Proven project management experience is a plus
Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations.
Strong communications and influencing skills; ability to distill complex topics into actionable strategies
Experience managing stakeholder relationships, including developing and implementing robust and innovative data related roadmaps
Ability to communicate ideas and data both verbally and written in a persuasive and appropriate manner
Ability to solicit information from stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Ability to prioritize, organize and manage deadlines; attention to detail and critical thinking is a must
Strong experience with MS Excel (proficient in the use of functions, macros, pivot tables) and PowerPoint
Aptitude for learning new systems and technologies
