Director Global Protection (M/F/D)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The Director Global Protection will help to generate and implement an adequate global safety standard in line with adidas' values. This position will do everything possible to protect our people and values and thus contribute to the continued existence of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Management and strategic management of all fields of action in corporate security
• Management of the analysis, evaluation and documentation processes in corporate security

• Global security information gathering
• Analysis, evaluation and documentation of security risks and crisis scenarios
• Advice to management in crisis situations in coordination with VP Protection
• Ensuring the leadership of the emergency and crisis management in coordination with the VP Protection
• Development, coordination and implementation of all necessary processes in the field of travel security
• Ensuring the provision of professional advice to travellers and employees on secondment to ensure that the company's duty of care is metadvisory function for the VP Protection in all matters of strategic and operational security
• Development of strategic protection targets to minimise business risks
• Development and implementation of higher-level security standards and processes
• Global management and coordination of security audits
• Development of awareness concepts on the topic of security
• Coordination and regular exchange with the regional security specialists

• Mobile; business related travel up to 40% per year
• Experience working with SAP or Microsoft Office beneficial

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

• University Degree in Business Administration, Security or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in a corporate security or similar environment
• Industry experience, master craftsman for Security or similar education
• Interdisciplinary independent perception of risk and security management processes in the task spectrum of a global company security
• Extensive knowledge in the field of business informatics and risk management
• Evidence of training or discipline specialization relevant to industry and Group business model and channels
• Experience in leading and developing teams
