JOB DESCRIPTION and JOB SPECIFICATIONJob Title Director - Sales & Marketing Reports to Managing Director & CEO1. JOB PURPOSE:â€¢ To ensure planning and executing sales, marketing and product development programs that will meet pre-determined targets and increase market share of the organization.â€¢ To achieve Sales to achieve Net profit of 20 Cr2. ROLL AND RESPONSIBILITIES:â€¢ Determines annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing trends and results.â€¢ Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new productsâ€¢ Monitor competitorsâ€™ products, including relevant sales and marketing dataâ€¢ Develop an operating budget for the sales division that meets business goalsâ€¢ Use available data to accurately forecast sales and set appropriate performance goalsâ€¢ Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy formaximum successâ€¢ Develop and maintain positive relationships with key clients, including negotiating and closing on major contractâ€¢ Implements national/International sales programs by developing field sales action plans.â€¢ Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply anddemand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.â€¢ Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand.â€¢ Completes national/International sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.â€¢ Maintains national/ International sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and trainingemployees.â€¢ Maintains national/ International sales staff job results by counseling and discipliningemployees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.â€¢ Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.â€¢ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededâ€¢ Performance and monitor sales team KPIs3.
