Director of IT Operations & Digital Transformation (m/f/d)

Position

In this exciting newly created role you will lead 24 IT experts and 3 direct reports through an exciting transition phase:

• You will lead the redesign of the internal IT architecture of our client landscape (Enterprise Architecture, SAP, Infrastructure & Service) in order to advance the efficiency, reliability and compatibility of their multimodal IT systems for the changes to come.
• Together with your colleagues in Sales and Marketing you will create a sophisticated digital environment for industrial automation software and applications, including testing-, customisation-, billing-, and implementation-features.
• Doing so, maintaining a high level of employee satisfaction and maintaining the current team spirit will be your greatest asset in successfully shaping the IT and Digitization framework of the company.

Your Qualifications

For this versatile task, you will require:

• A minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of leadership in a generalist IT function for an international organisation.
• A strong background in Enterprise Architecture Management and ERP Systems (preferably SAP).
• Experience in implementing and applying current technologies to backend, as well as frontend applications (especially cloud technologies, AI technologies and collaboration tools).
• Ability to switch between fast-paced agile IT-project-management and long-term-oriented traditional IT.
• Great people skills with a supportive leadership style
• Fluency in English, German is a plus.
