Director of Supply Chain Planning

The Role

We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional to lead and manage our talented Planning team based in Perth. In this role, you will set and execute objectives that balance supply and demand: measure and continuously improve forecast accuracy, and drive accountability in order to meet financial goals and maximise the customer experience of our stores. This leader will work closely with our Process Improvement team to optimise globally aligned demand and supply planning processes.

• Senior level experience leading supply chain planning functions
• Engaging leader who can partner with business stakeholders to understand how the supply chain supports strategic and tactical plans
• Passionate and engaged leader who will continue to develop and grow a talented team
• Proficient in making data-based decisions and building actionable insights using BI tools
• Demonstrate strategic thinking with scenario modelling to inform business decisions for inventory planning, factory load balancing and cash flow
• Develop responsive, customer focussed solutions in a complex environment
• Lead continuous improvement programs, reducing waste, improving service levels, and improving financial performance
• Maintain a highly visible supply chain through the development of key operational reporting and dashboards

What We Are Looking For:

• 8+ years’ experience in S&OP and/or IBP, steering all elements of constrained and unconstrained planning
• APICS qualification (CSCP, CPIM, CDDP) highly desirable
• Process driven with a strategic mindset
• Experience developing, implementing, and working with best practice supply planning/inventory management tools and processes.
• Experience building, growing, and managing high performing teams.
• Demonstrated success within a wholesale/retail environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - advanced Excel preferable
• Advanced interpersonal skills interacting with leadership and building solid and trusted working relationships across the organization, both locally and globally
• A strong aptitude to learn in a fast paced, high growth environment
• Keen ability to ensure projects are on track for completion to plan; able to flag risks and anticipate needs in a proactive manner
• Ability to drive change, adapt and respond to business needs
• Thorough, research driven approach and a willingness to consult and collaborate with others (both locally and globally) to overcome obstacles and achieve the best results
• Qualification in, or experience with Lean Six Sigma highly desirable
