In this role, you have the opportunity to
Establish standard supplier and purchasing controls processes end to end from initial product design, manufacturing and solutions delivery to meet business and customer needs and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
You will manage a team of Business Process Experts to develop and continually improve these processes that enable products and services meet specification through our supplier base whilst accommodating the needs of the different business clusters including Medical Devices, Consumer Products, Software Solutions and Markets.
You will ensure that the Supplier Quality function has appropriate IT systems to enable their activities to be as effective and efficient as possible and that all IT Systems and processes that fall within this function are suitably implemented, resourced and supported.
Identify IT processes that interface with the Supplier Quality community, map existing IT systems, address gaps to ensure correct data flow and connectivity and input into future state IT infrastructure.
It will also be needed to establish and maintain an effective global supplier audit program to leverage audits across all of Philips to drive excellence and efficiency, to use audits proactively to improve supplier performance whilst minimizing the number of unnecessary audits with a focus on performance and risk.
You have the opportunity to develop supplier lead auditor competency and establish a community of practice to learn and continually improve. Manage the lead auditor qualification and registration process to ensure a sufficient pool of auditors to meet the needs of the global supplier audit program.
You will provide leadership and management support for the Global Supplier Quality Assurance team, driving collaboration across the SQA team and into the wider SQE group. And team up and partner with stakeholder functions and foster an environment to continuously improve process and IT systems though Lean and Daily Management practices.
You will instill a culture of personal growth within the team through continuous feedback, coaching and mentoring to further both individual and team competency. And finally, successfully collaborating with Procurement, Operations, EIM, IT and Q&R as a whole.
