The Sales team has built a mature and sustainable business and is now evolving further based on changing dynamics in the ANZ retail market, and the prioritization of growing eCommerce & Omnichannel sales and marketing.As such, ANZ eCommerce will play a key role in executing best in class online merchandising, developing and executing innovative online retail programs and first-class online shopper experiences. We collaborate across the organization to realize new growth opportunities for our customers in connecting with, and converting, shoppers and consumers in the digital marketplace.
Deliver results, from the ground up
The eCommerce Manager will support the 2019-2020 Channel Strategy & ANZ eCommerce Channel development; they will be responsible for online merchandising, shopper communications development, shopper engagement planning and execution with retailers both on-site and off-site, and execution of Amazon & eBay eCommerce platform channel marketing, reporting to the General Manager, Australia. The role will be part of the newly developing ANZ eCommerce function.
Key responsibilities:
- Online merchandising, including product page copy, imagery, backend search words, video, A+, as well as store/promotion/campaign landing pages, etc, NGE upgrades.
- Focus on eCommerce Channel Strategy to ensure key objectives are planned for in Channel/Retailer execution plans, executed, analyzed and evolved.
- Ecommerce channel marketing, in terms of LEGO playtheme campaigns, customer promotions and occasion campaigns e.g. Easter, Christmas, eCommerce events e.g. Click Frenzy, Black Friday
- Partner with Trade Marketing to execute omnichannel campaigns and implement omnichannel innovation with key omnichannel accounts
- Integrate global eCommerce capabilities, learnings and insights to ANZ.
- Identify and evaluate new eCommerce marketing and sales opportunities relevant for LEGO ANZ; sell in to customers, execute test and learn, share back learnings with business and further develop.
- LAP Shopper Engagement monthly customer updates, i.e. driving customer utilization of LEGO assets and insights.
What we’re looking for:
- Full understanding of the dynamics of eCommerce and digital marketing. Proven analytical capabilities – ability to leverage analysis in a data rich, retail environment to help the channel realize competitive advantages and improve performance on critical scorecard metrics
- Experience in eCommerce marketing and strong commercial experience and acumen within eCommerce and online platforms.
- Successfully developed and executed sales and marketing results in previous roles.
- 2-3 years of experiences across various channels in Retail, retailer Account Management. 2-3 years of experience in eCommerce marketing or e-shopper marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree, in a business-related field preferred
- Strong communicator, who can explain complex issues and quickly build rapport with the customer
- Excellent user of MS Office tools, online analytics platforms and preferred basic skills in Photoshop
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
