About the Role

YMCA WA is currently seeking a permanent full time Qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team in Newman.

Newman Early Learning Centre was purpose built to support the needs of the local community. The Centre is also the base for a range of YMCA’s Family Support Programs, supporting Indigenous families and children in Newman and outlaying communities. We are committed to improving outcomes for Indigenous children and assisting them to successfully transition to school.

Skills and Experience  

  • Degree in Early Childhood Teaching in Early Childhood/children’s services or equivalent
  • HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
  • National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
  • Ability to lead and support a team of educators
