Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Inspire curiosity and critical thinking in the classroom.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Participate in the school’s ECT induction and CPD programme.
- Collaborate with experienced colleagues in lesson planning and resource sharing.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment.
- Support whole-school activities and contribute to a positive school culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
- QTS or expected QTS by September 2025 (essential).
- A degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Combined).
- No classroom experience required—enthusiasm and commitment are key.
- Strong communication and classroom presence.
- A passion for inspiring students through practical and theoretical science.
- Commitment to safeguarding and student well-being.
- Willingness to engage with extra-curricular activities and team initiatives.
