EHS Compliance:

  • Create, promote and maintain a safe and healthy working environment that meets local regulations and company guidelines.
  • Establish, implement and maintain EHS program (Safety Imaging, Near Miss Program, 5W, PTW, PHA and Behavior Observation) and policies to meet EHS KPI's in the plant.
  • Coach peers in EHS related subjects, Coordinate and conduct EHS training, cascade down the EHS mindset and safety culture to working level.
  • Initiate, plan, lead and implement the sustainability plan implemented on site.
  • Initiate and lead the occupation hygiene program on site to cultivate employees awareness and reduce company risk exposure on labor dispute.
  • Drive reduction of EHS risks by leading teams through safety program and continuous improvement.
  • Follow up on audits actions completion.

Corporate Compliance, Legal Compliance /Public relationship / Crisis management:

  • Train and Supervise the MOC program implemented at all departments.
  • Maintain all special permits and related  licenses updated and valid as required by regulation.
  • Manage social/EHS audits from Corporate,  third party, customer and government. Lead internal audits and vendor audits related to EHS issues.
  • Maintain a good relationship with government agencies to foster stronger cooperation to improve the site EHS performance.
  • Manage crisis situation in the plant internally & externally in according with relevant customer, corporate, legal requirements related to EHS issues
  • Coordinate with global & regional legal, EHS, GRA & quality to manage & support relevant projects related to EHS.

Build EHS system:

  • Conduct PHA and PHA audit for new projects.
  • Establish and maintain EHS system.
  • Ensure the plant required permits such as safety permit, environment permit and occupation hygiene permit and any others are in compliance.
  • Build and implement measurement system for emissions based on government regulation.
  • Training and supervise the team to understand the  EHS program on the site.

People Management in both Plants:

  • Manage the EHS team by coordinating goals setting for direct reports, regularly coaching and supervising their activities, and evaluating their performance. 
  • Continuously improve capability of the team by setting up and implementing personal development plan.

Projects & Cross-functional Activities:

  • Co-ordinate cross-functional activities in order to ensure consistent approach to all aspects related to EHS issues.
  • Monitor  new regulations related to EHS and new raw materials on site to ensure the EHS are taking care of.
  • Initiate, lead, supervise or participate in task-forces and special projects to improve overall plant performance.
  • Introduce and supervise corrective actions in area of EHS where necessary.
  • Monitor and control the progress and effectiveness of corrective actions taken.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in external audits.

Required Skills


  1. Bachelor degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
  2. At least 10 year in a MNC with experience in Manufacturing Industry with 3 years in a Managerial position
  3. Experienced green field projects with heavy involvement from design reviews to commissioning.
  4. Strong Interpersonal skills and leadership skills
  5. Strong knowledge and experience in leading PHA Studies (eg Hazops, Chazops, 5 Whys)
  6. Effective communication and fluent command in both spoken and written English.
  7. Customer-oriented and quality oriented. 
  8. Team builder and ability to lead and motivate subordinates.
